Luna Cinema

The first screening at the Luna Cinema took place on July 22, 1962, to celebrate the National Day of the Rebirth of Poland. Built as part of the MDM – Marszałkowska Dzielnica Mieszkaniowa, or Marszałkowska Residential District, the Luna Cinema has been operating in the same location since its opening. As one of the few it had two screens: one with almost 350 seats and the other with about 400.
Today, the Luna Cinema still offers two halls: with 304 and 347 seats, hosting film days and festivals, shows, performances, concerts, meetings with artists and vernissages. The cinema’s repertoire includes premieres and artistic productions, awarded at Polish and international film festivals.
The cinema is well-equipment, with BARCO digital projectors (including the only 4K projector in Warsaw) and traditional 35 mm and multimedia projectors. The cinema supports the Dolby Pro Logic sound system.
